The Infinera TM 3000 system was developed by Swedish company Transmode and the product range was transferred to Infinera in 2015 when the acquisition took place. The system is for DWDM and packet optical. It now fits within the Infinera XDM product range which also includes the compact version TM 301.
The CU card is the control unit responsible for management and software. The rest of the slots can be equipped with DWDM/ CDWM layer 2 traffic cards, optical amplification, ROADM and passive filter units.
TXO has a compete reference system in our repair centre including 100Gbps traffic cards. This means that defects can be identified and also that the card can be tested thoroughly post repair.
In addition to repair services staging services are also available to upgrade/downgrade the firmware on the CU as well as testing passive filters for wavelength.
