The Nortel TN-1X is an early generation SDH optical multiplexer. It supports PDH, 2Mbit/s (E1) and STM-1 optical and electrical tributaries. It can function as an ADM ( add drop mux), terminal mux or re generator to deliver point to point, chain or ring SDH configurations.
Nortel TN-1X Repair Services
It can be hard for operators to find spares for legacy SDH systems such as the Nortel TN-1X and so repair can be an attractive and cost effective option for the operator. Since TXO has a TN-1X reference system on hand faults can be diagnosed, repaired and then cards re-tested to check function in line with manufacturers specification.
